Event description

Description

After the success of the StreetSpace workshop of 2018 we are delighted to repeat, focusing this time on the Clifton Gateway (Donegall Street, Clifton Street and Crumlin Road). This will be a two day workshop to explore the complexity of these streets in Belfast. We will explore people's experiences, memories and histories and create a set of maps to reflect these. We will also investigate the potential of these streets to provide fair, accessible and diverse places for people. This workshop is based on the one year live project carried out by students of the Masters of Architecture, in collaboration with Anthropology and Film Studies at QUB, the Department for Communities and Belfast City Council. We will develop a series of activities that will lead us to 6 new maps of the Clifton Gateway, which will be exhibited in PLACE from June 20th.

Places are limited, but the event is free and open to all. RSVP is mandatory for catering purposes.

If you want to attend the Workshop please contact Dr Agustina Martire : a.martire@qub.ac.uk
