The Big Grill 2015 - BBQ & Craft Beer Festival & Competition
Description
After a sell-out first year, The Big Grill BBQ & Craft Beer Festival is back in Herbert Park taking place from August 13th - 16th.
We’ve added a lot more to our program this year including playing host to some of the world’s best BBQ stars & pitmasters, a weekend long schedule of talks & demos, Ireland’s first USA style slow n low BBQ competition, Weber’s interactive grill academy, live music & international artists such as DJ Yoda, and we’re also delighted to announce we will have a small batch liquor & cocktail bar as well as an increased selection of wines, beers & ciders. Furthermore the Big Grill will kick off with an extra day starting on the Thursday, and we’ll be offering daily whole animal cooks, sample size portions, a games area & an expanded kids area.
Our host for the weekend will be none other than DJ BBQ, and our pitmasters include some well loved favourites such as John Relihan, who is back for a second year, and Levi Roots the creator of the famous Reggae Reggae sauce. There'll also be some up and coming stars of the BBQ scene including Tyson Ho the owner & Pitmaster of Brooklyn’s Arrogant Swine, and Andre Lima de Luca, Brazil’s first certified Pitmaster, and owner & head chef at BOS BBQ in Sao Paulo, the country’s only Texas-style BBQ house.
For the full lineup information check out our website www.biggrillfestival.com.
You're also welcome to join us at the official Big Grill After Party. We'll be wrapping up the weekend on Sunday the 16th at the infamous Bridge Bar in Ballsbridge from 8pm. Everyone is welcome to come & join us, and we'll have Bodytonic DJs providing the soundtrack.

FAQs - Please see our website for a full version of our FAQs.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We advise coming along by public transport as parking is limited and restricted in the area.
The Dart’s nearest stations Lansdowne Road and Sandymount are but a hop skip and a jump away. If you fancy coming along by bus then jump on any of the 46a, 145, 7 or the 39a.
It is also easily accessible by foot, bicycle, & by car if you really need to bring one.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Your tickets will be emailed to you, you can choose to print them or better yet, present them to us on your smartphone & we'll take it from there. We prefer the latter option, it's better for the environment. :)
What is the refund policy?
Unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled we regret that tickets cannot be exchanged, swapped, or refunded after purchase. We unfortunately also cannot facilitate name changes on tickets.
