About this event

“ The Choices programme- our approaches and what to expect” is a free online training for frontline professionals who would like to know more about MOVE Irelands “Choices Programme” , how it is structured, the type of work that is undertaken to provide insight into how we engage with perpetrators of domestic abuse, while offering support to their (ex partners). It will high-light the 6 Choices programme modules, what they cover and the type of one to one work that is undertaken. It will also give details about the referral process and what to expect after referral with frontline staff outlining a typical case and how MOVE Ireland managed risks and engaged with other frontline case workers while the case was open. It is suited for a range of frontline professionals from social work, gardai and probation staff to drugs, mental health and community services and will take 2 hours to complete. A certificate of attendance will be provided.
