iCRAG, the SFI Research Centre in Applied Geosciences conducts a broad range of research related to Ireland’s Peatlands from Restoration, Monitoring and Public Perception through to Geohazard and Geo-Engineering considerations on post-peat land use.
We will be presenting our expertise and research to- date in this area at our workshop on February 21st 2023 in the Manor Hotel Abbeyleix. The workshop will also include speakers from NPWS, Bord na Mona, Fehily Timoney and Geological Survey Ireland. Please join us at this networking forum that will bring researchers, industry, state and semi-state agencies together to discuss how our current and upcoming research projects can address challenges faced by the peat sector.
