Description

The world of work is changing at an unprecedented level. Significant demographic, economic, and cultural shifts in terms of how, when and where we work, are taking hold worldwide. This revolution that started changing the workplace in the early 1990s has now spread to all parts of the Irish economy. Balancing the needs of both staff and business in terms of flexible working hours, location and global mobility is becoming more challenging. The disruptive, innovation-driven nature of business, means that companies’ resourcing needs are being rethought.
Traditional work roles are evolving and the ‘gig’ economy of project driven, independent work is becoming more common.

How can Irish companies adapt to this new environment? What does it mean for employers and staff? What can we learn from organisations who are at the forefront of managing organisational change?

Join Dublin Chamber and Beauchamps at our 'Future of Work' breakfast hearing from the views of innovative and distinguished business leaders. Our key note speaker, Declan Ronayne, CEO of Woodies will share his company's journey. Dermot Casserly, Head of Employment at Beauchamps will then lead a panel discussion sharing perspectives from Niamh Graham, VP of Global HR at Globoforce and Gerard McDonough Director, PwC, as we debate the impact of the ‘Future of Work’ on the Irish economy.
