To celebrate Food Month, join Irish Times food and drink writers on our Food Month Food Tours.

Take part in walking tours in Dublin and Cork with Catherine Cleary, Marie Claire Digby, John Wilson and Lilly Higgins as they share some of their favourite haunts and best kept dining secrets.

You’ll enjoy tastings and demos, behind the scenes access and lots of fun along the way.

All tours are limited to 10 people

Inside the Dublin restaurant scene: Join Marie-Claire Digby on an access all areas visit to some stalwarts of the capital’s dining scene, as well as getting the inside track on a couple of newcomers.The tour begins at Chapter One with a behind the scenes visit at this Michelin-starred restaurant with chef proprietor Ross Lewis, plus a tasting of dishes from the menu.

Discover the new additions at Brother Hubbard North on Capel Street – a retail space and an onsite coffee roastery –and taste some of the cafe’s best loved dishes.

Visit Klaw The Seafood Cafe in Temple Bar for a mini oyster masterclass and tasting, plus try some sustainable seafood with owner Niall Sabongi

Drop into Bar Giuseppe, the latest offering from restaurateur Joe Macken at Castle Market for a snack and a chat about Macken’s restaurants

Experience the art of sabrage at the Shelbourne with head sommelier Nisea Doddy and enjoy a glass of Champagne. Meet the hotel’s executive head chef Garry Hughes to talk about the hotel’s afternoon tea menu, and sample some of the delicacies created especially for it.
