Event description

Description

Writers in TRAINing is back by popular demand! Two innovative writers, 35 young people and a train makes for some very creative writing. Tickets include, the return train ticket, workshops on the train, a chosen workshop at the festival and your lunch - and maybe a few surprises on the way.

Darren Donohue (Playwright) and Karl Parkinson (Poet) will work with the group travelling to Waterford to help you create a new piece of writing as you hurtle southwards on the train. So expect fun, madness and a constantly changing environment as you pass through the countryside, small towns, by rivers and strange announcements over the PA system all part of the journey to The Lit festival.
