Event description

Description

The GEC is delighted to bring you our second GEC Kerry Prosper Series event.

The mission for this series of events which we launched last November here in the GEC, is to develop a network of support among Kerry's business diaspora to enhance prosperity in the county through co-operation, knowledge sharing, creativity, inspiration and a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Missed out on our first event in November last year? Well check out our highlights video (with thanks to Zaska Creative) here

On March 1st, we'll hear from early stage Kerry start-ups who are developing jobs in the county and we’ll also be joined by Ed Harty of Dairymaster.

Ed Harty is the CEO and technical director of Dairymaster, a milking equipment manufacturer with its global headquarters in Causeway, County Kerry. Harty is a mechanical engineer by profession with a degree from University of Limerick. He joined Dairymaster in 1998, while studying for a PhD in University College Dublin where he focused on milking performance.

In 2012 Harty was presented with the title of International and overall Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Kerry Prosper Series was developed by The GEC in partnership with Kerry County Council, IT Tralee, the Kerry LEO office and Enterprise Ireland, along with the Kerry working group based in Dublin.

Light refreshments will be provided so come along on March 1st to support your county!
