Energy Cork is delighted to invite you to attend our next Lunchtime Briefing which will hear from Úna Brosnan, Head of Offshore, Ireland at Mainstream Renewable Power on the topic of The Race for Global Energy Leadership.
The clean green energy space is advancing. As countries around the world compete for global leadership and at a pace, the policies and approaches governments take will have profound implications for the energy industry. In this Lunchtime Briefing, Mainstream will share perspectives on what presents some of the biggest geopolitical challenges to the ‘Energy Transition’ today and where there are opportunities for interventions.
Mainstream is a pure-play renewable energy company specialising in the development of onshore and offshore wind and solar projects around the world. It is focused on expanding its current development portfolio of 16.9 GW with plans to bring 5.5 GW to financial close by 2023.
The Lunchtime Briefing will take place on Thursday 8th December 2022 from 1pm.
The Event will be introduced by Harry O'Farrell the Chair of Energy Cork and will hear from Úna Brosnan the Head of Offshore, Ireland at Mainstream Renewable Power.
This Lunchtime Briefing will be recorded and the recording made available online.

Speakers' Bio:
Úna Brosnan - Head of Offshore, Ireland at Mainstream Renewable Power.
Úna Brosnan is the Head of Offshore, Ireland at Mainstream Renewable Power, an RUK Board member and Co-Chair of the UK Floating Wind Taskforce Working group. She is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years industry experience with the last twelve years immersed in renewable energy with global renewable energy experience extending across development and technology in both fixed and floating wind.
