Description

Ireland's First Ever Running Summit takes place in Dingle Town on the weekend of May 26th & 27th!

The Summit will be hosted by Shane Finn, Barry Murray & Catherina McKiernan.

Shane who recently ran 24 Marathons in 24 Days around Ireland & Barry who is one of Ireland's elite Ultra Distance Athletes and Sports Nutritionist to many top athletes & performers around the globe and of course Catherina is one of Ireland’s most successful sportswomen. Catherina’s outstanding achievements include winning silver at the World Cross Country championships, 4 years in a row from 1992 to 1995 and winning the inaugural European Cross Country title in 1994. She still holds the Irish Record for the marathon of 2:22 and was a previous winner of the prestigious Berlin Marathon in 1997 and London Marathon in 1998.

The Summit will be interactive & informative. Morning, afternoon & evening workshops will take place focusing on the areas of Mindset, Optimal Nutrition for Endurance, Chi Running Technique & Methods, Strength Training for Endurance and much more.

Buses are available on Sunday morning for a Dingle Marathon Route Run. We will take the coach out to Slea Head where we will recce some of the famous Dingle Marathon route and take in some of the sights and scenery of course. Bus transfers are also included in your Summit Ticket Price!

Gourmet Lunch is included on the Saturday & Sunday in the Dingle Skellig Hotel as part of your Summit Ticket!

Tickets are limited to 100 people for the first year of The Running Summit as we want to ensure a smoothly run event and offer all attendees a top quality experience!
