The Sitting Book - Public Talk with Amanda Dunsmore

About this event

The title for this series of public talks is ‘The Sitting Book’ which is based on a series of pocket notebooks held in the RA Archive by Joshua Reynolds. These recorded in detail his sitters, social circles and relationships that fed into the formation of his work.

The talks series looks at how contemporary artists have used human subjects, social groups and relationships in the formation of their practice. This series of talks are hosted on Zoom on Thursday evening at 5.30pm during October and November.
