The Sitting Book - Public Talk with Harry Walsh Foreman
Event Information
About this event
The title for this series of public talks is ‘The Sitting Book’ which is based on a series of pocket notebooks held in the RA Archive by Joshua Reynolds. These recorded in detail his sitters, social circles and relationships that fed into the formation of his work.
The talks series looks at how contemporary artists have used human subjects, social groups and relationships in the formation of their practice. This is the last of a series of talks, hosted on Zoom on Thursday evening at 5.30pm during February, March and April.
Further talks include:
Dragana Jurišić 24th February
Pat Curran 10th March
Vanessa Jones 31st March
Salvatore Of Lucan 21st April
