Description
Examining Sustainable Development Goal 15 'Life on Land' on the 25th anniversary of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
Using a participative and engaging format Cultivate will host this evening workshop to highlight Sustainable Development Goal 15 and promote a sustainable use of our ecosystems and ways to preserve biodiversity.
A keynote presentation on soil and citizen science will be given by Greek ecologist, author, olive grower and social entrepreneur Pavlos Georgiadis. This will be followed by a conversation on how people can play a part in reversing land degradation and halting biodiversity loss.
This is a free event held as part of Biodiversity Week.
