Pipeworks Festival 2018 - France 100's opening concert features David Adams, premier Irish organist and former Pipeworks' competition winner celebrating the 100th anniversary of the death of Claude Debussy. Presented in the stunning surroundings of Christ Church Cathedral this programme includes Leon Roques' transcriptions of this great composer's keyboard works including La Cathédrale Engloutie and other repertoire drawing inspiration from Debussy's life and influences.

Pipeworks Festival France 100 is funded by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Dublin City Council and is presented in association with the French Embassy in Ireland (www.ambafrance-ie.org); Festival partners include RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, Whitefriar Street Church, Dún Laoghaire Summer Organ Concerts and The National Concert Hall.
