Soearth Hosts The Twelve Tastes of Christmas in collaboration with The Salt Projects
Come and join us for our next culinary delight at Soearth Projects in collaboration with The Salt Project! We will be hosting 12 Tastes of Christmas during the first Saturday of Christmas on the 3rd of December from 5 - 10 pm.
Caomhán de Brí from The Salt Project will be masterfully creating twelve festive dishes. From the delights of traditional Christmas standards to some wonderfully quirky alternatives, all dishes utilise the finest ingredients from Kildare and the surrounding area. This event is perfect for individuals or small working/community groups to experience some bespoke Christmas joy before the madness kicks in!
The Twelves Tastes of Christmas will be deeply connected to the land and its resources. We will reflect the harvesting traditions intrinsic to Christmas; observing and appreciating the pickling and preserving principles of food preparation. A selection of dishes will be savoured in our beautiful gallery.
This culinary adventure does not stop at the front door; donning our boots and hats we will make our way into the woods and witness how the winter season can inspire nourishing food connections. Ancient traditions such as Fulacht Fiadh will be uncovered and explored under a canopy of trees (weather permitting!), before the bounty of food is shared by the warmth of an open fire.
