THE VANBRUGH

Keith Pascoe, violin - Simon Aspell, viola - Christopher Marwood, cello

The Vanbrugh has evolved from the work of the legendary Vanbrugh Quartet. In 2016 the group was presented with the National Concert Hall’s Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of their contribution to music in Ireland

MICHAEL MCHALE, piano

Belfast-born Michael McHale has established himself as one of Ireland’s leading pianists and has developed a busy international career as a solo recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician.

Organiser of The Vanbrugh and Michael McHale

Waterford Music was founded in June 1942 for the promotion of chamber music, supporting local artists and inviting distinguished artists from worldwide to perform at Waterford’s Georgian Large Room, City Hall.

Today it presents eight chamber music concerts during each season from September to April.
