About this event
Velvettes present two nights of all the classic tunes that make Christmas so special.
From Bing's quintessential "White Christmas" through to Elvis's "Blue Christmas" with a healthy helping of Doris Day, Perry Como & many many more. The band endeavour to recreate the atmosphere & spirit of season from the '40's 50's & '60's.
Interspersed with some timeless Jazz standards from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin & Hoagy Carmichael. Songs immortalised through the years, made legendary by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole & Eta James & Ella Fitzgerald, all wrapped in the incredible setting of The Ballroom at Farmleigh Estate, decked out for Christmas. A magical trip down memory lane, to bring the joy and warmth of the Holiday season to life.
Tickets: €10
Doors: 7pm, Refreshments available before performance & during interval.
Performance: 8pm - 10.15pm (with interval.)
