Themed Guided Tour - Biophilia
Event Information
About this event
It is believed that humans have evolved to have an instinctive bond with nature, one which our increasingly urbanised life threatens to disrupt. Join us for a brisk post-festivities stroll around the Gardens and learn about the effect that plants have on our physical and mental states as well as the social benefits this exposure brings to us.
Where to Meet
Meet at the sign in front of The Palm House. Your guide, wearing an identifiable name badge, will meet you there.
For more information on your visit see www.botanicgardens.ie or email us at botanicgardens@opw.ie
Please note that for now the glasshouses remain closed to the public, so our tours will take place outdoors. Due to staff shortages, there is a chance that some tours may be cancelled. We will be sure to notify ticket holders by email and automatically refund ticket prices if a tour is cancelled.
Safety
At this time we are conscious of your safety and that of your guide. Group numbers will be limited and we ask that all attendees adhere to social distancing. Due to the prevalence of Omicron we are asking all tour participants to wear a face covering for the duration of the tour. By booking a tour, you affirm that, to the best of your knowledge, all members of your party have no symptoms of COVID-19.
Tours will take place with a minimum of 2 people.
