As we move towards midwinter, thoughts turn to the many festivities of this time of year - of Solstice, of Yuletide, of Christmas - of bright lights and warm fires to stave off the longest nights. Plants still growing at this time were storied and celebrated, becoming part of the folklore and traditions of the year's darkest days. On this special seasonal guided tour, meet some of these plants up close and learn about the stories - some sacred, some surprising, some silly - that make these plants a beloved part of our homes and landscapes while the rest of nature sleeps.

Please note that for now the glasshouses remain closed to the public, so all of our tours will take place outdoors.
