Event description
A heady tour of the most fragrant summer flowers including a brief history of perfume.

About this event

A heady tour of the most fragrant summer flowers including a brief history of perfume. Of course, plants do not produce their scent just for our pleasure but to entice pollinators and give chemical warning signals. On this tour, we will also explore how plants use scent to exploit animals to their advantage.

Please note that for now the glasshouses remain closed to the public, so our tours will take place outdoors.

Safety

At this difficult time, we are conscious of your safety and that of your guide. Group numbers will be limited to 6 plus guide. Guides will wear a mask and we ask that all attendees will also wear masks and adhere to social distancing. By booking a tour, you affirm that, to the best of your knowledge, all members of your party have no symptoms of COVID-19 and have not travelled nor arrived from overseas in the 14 days before the date of the tour.

Tours will take place with a minimum of 2 people.
