Event description
A documentary from the Dublin Greek Film Festival by Simos Korexenidis

About this event

What is a tongue twister? Why do they exist in language? What's their purpose? What connects some words so thrillingly with laughter? Can documentation about language be a contemporary perception of euphoria? This is a funny-language-educational-fairly-cheesy-tickling documentary by Simos Korexenidis.

Dublin Greek Film Festival was established in 2014, and it is run by voluntary members. Since then, the Festival has presented numerous features, documentaries, short films, and special events (concerts, dance workshops, photo-exhibitions, etc.) in the top cultural venues of Ireland's capital. The Festival showcases the latest films by both internationally established directors and emerging filmmakers, who produce many of the most dynamic, innovative and provocative films in the world. The aim of the Festival is to promote Greek cinema and culture and highlight the similarities between Ireland and Greece. In the past, the Dublin Greek Film Festival team organised events for Dublin City Council's Social Inclusion Week and Cruinniú na nÓg.
