Employment Law is an area that is becoming increasingly more complex and is governed by more than 30 pieces of major legislation. With this in mind, it is now more important than ever that employer’s have a clear understanding of employment law to ensure that they are protecting their business and complying with their legal obligations. The seminar will focus on the top ten most common HR/Employment law issues faced by SME’s and will aim to give attendees key information, practical tips and solutions to these regularly encountered issues. The seminar will cover matters relating to disciplinary meetings, performance management, grievances, retirement etc.

Ciara McGuone holds a BCL in Law and Politics from the National University of Ireland Maynooth and a Masters in Law (LLM) from Trinity College Dublin. Ciara also completed a Diploma in Human Resource Management in National College of Ireland and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She currently works with the Small Firms Association as a HR Executive, advising member companies on employment law and HR matters.
