Event description
Conference highlighting research and findings which can inform the continued development of progressive family carer policy in Ireland.

About this Event

Care Alliance Ireland invite you to their 3rd biannual Family Carer Research conference, taking place in collaboration with the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems. Following on from our successful research conferences in 2015 and 2017, Care Alliance Ireland is pleased to partner with UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems - with funding from the Health Research Board - to invite you to our 2019 Family Carer Research Conference. The theme of this year's conference is "Towards A Refreshed National Carers Strategy – From Research to Policy". The aim of the conference is to highlight research projects and findings which can inform the continued development of family carer policy in Ireland.

Featuring eight oral presentations, we hope guests leave the conference with a deeper understanding of family carer issues in Ireland, and how we can further push for a continued development of progressive family carer policy in Ireland.

The conference will take place in The Red Room in the UCD student centre (see map here).
