A conference bringing together experts from Guinea, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Latin America and the Mekong region to discuss on the opportunities and challenges of the management of transboundary rivers.
Expert discussion panels, project presentations, and B2B & B2G meetings will enable sharing of best practices to ensure a more sustainable management of transboundary rivers. A special focus will be on the Niger, Danube and Mekong rivers as opportunities for the development of a blue economy.
This event is part of the Expo 2020 Dubai water week calendar and is organized by the Republic of Guinea pavilion at Expo 2020 in partnership with UNDP Guinea, the European Union and PORRIMA.
