Every month, the Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation organises a reading group, where one person chooses a recently published academic journal article in the field, which we all read and then come together to discuss. Our May 2020 session was the first of these discussions we held online. Each month, we repeat the process and deepen our discussion. This is the article we will read in February 2021:

These seminars are open to researchers around the world, irrespective of university affiliation. If you would like to join a discussion, please read the respective article first, and register for the event to get the link to the webinar.

Each article is nominated by someone, who kicks off our discussion by introducing why they picked the article and what they made of it. We aim to have a different nominator each month.
If you would like to nominate an article for the Translation Studies Reading Group, all you need to do is identify:
- a piece of Translation Studies Research
- in the form of an article or a work of similar length,
- which you didn't write
- that has recently been published
- and that is readily available in an electronic form
