About this event
#InclusiveTrinity
This short session will explore Trinity’s Individual Learning Educational Needs Summary (LENS) reports which detail Reasonable Accommodations to be implemented to meet students’ disability support needs. Gerard Gallagher, Head of Student Disability Supports and Deputy Director of the Disability Service, will provide an overview of the purpose and elements of the LENS Reports. Ross Coleman, recent TCD Alum and current Trinity-INC Graduate Intern, will discuss the importance of LENS reports to students’ teaching experiences. Finally, Dr Rachel Hoare, lecturer, tutor and Trinity-INC Academic Director will provide the perspective of an academic implementing the accommodations.
This is a key training for new academic staff to Trinity, students who are interested in how LENS reports may help them, as well as anyone else interested in this key disability inclusion piece within Trinity.
