Event description

Description

DJ, Broadcaster, Documentarian, Musician, just a few of Don Letts vocations. From sowing the seeds of dub and reggae in the minds of punks in the Roxy Club in London with his DJ sets in the 1970s, to documenting the genre's biggest band (The Clash) in 'Westway to the World', Letts was a visionary who championed the music of his parent's birthplace in that of his own. He was also a member of Big Audio Dynamite and presents his Culture Clash Radio show on 6 Music on the BBC.

Don will be discussing the 50th Anniversary of Trojan Records and the lasting impact it has had on musical culture in the UK and beyond.
