Overview
Clann Miotlantach/Mythatlantics: Alice Rekab
Parent and Toddler Tuesday Morning Workshop
Tuesday 16th December 10.30am
A Gallery-based workshop led by artist Caoimhe O'Dwyer
Join artist Caoimhe O’Dwyer for a fun-filled, hands-on clay workshop created especially for curious toddlers and their grown-ups.
Together, you’ll step into Alice Rekab’s immersive exhibition 'Clann Miotlantach/Mythlantics' in the Lower Gallery, where colourful stories of family, migration, place, and belonging spark little imaginations.
After a gentle, toddler-friendly wander through the exhibition, Caoimhe will invite everyone to dive into the delightful world of air-dried clay, squishing, rolling, pinching, and shaping as you bring tiny sculptures to life.
This playful, sensory making time helps support early years development, from building fine-motor skills to encouraging imagination, curiosity, and early self-expression.
Creating side-by-side also deepens the bond between parent and child, offering a warm and welcoming space at Highlanes Gallery where creativity feels joyful, relaxed, and open to even the tiniest hands.
All materials provided.
Do not worry if you are running late or have to leave early – we can facilitate to your needs.
