Event description

Description

To celebrate National Biodiversity Week, join us for a family-friendly twilight nature ramble through the Gardens, meeting up before sunset to hear the birds’ evening chorus, see what night roosts we can find and watch the birds heading to roost. Once the sun goes down we will look and listen for nocturnal creatures and then use a bat detector to listen for bats, weather‑permitting. Bring binoculars and bat detectors if you have them, and suitable outdoor clothes.

Edit: We decided to reschedule this tour after reviewing the twilight hours at the end of May. We apologise for any inconvenience. An email has been sent to those who have tickets. Any questions please call (01) 804 0319/ 857 0909 or email botanicgardens@opw.ie
