About this event
Internationally celebrated British pianist, Simon Callaghan, joins Mary Dullea for the two-piano finale of 2022 Festival. Highlighting music by the American composer Amy Beach inspired by Irish melodies and works by Enniskillen composer Joan Trimble who expertly weaves these Irish tunes into the range of possibilities two pianos offer, we present tunes including Puck Fair, The Humours of Carrick and The Gartan Mother’s Lullaby. The Festival culminates in Rachmaninoff’s exhilarating two piano version of his Symphonic Dances.
