About this Event

The CHilD-Research Centre at UCD is a collaborative interface across the Bio – Psycho – Social Sciences which aims to enhance our understanding of children’s well-being and human development through producing an integrated interdisciplinary knowledge base.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day to celebrate, in advance of Universal Children's Day, at the UCD CHilD-Research Centre annual research conference on the 14th of November 2019. The theme of this year conference is "Children’s Rights for a Healthy World”.

This annual conference offers a friendly and supportive environment to showcase child research-focused work, meet and learn from other researchers and academics, and more importantly, to allow children/young adults to share their voice. This conference will also offer two exciting workshops by international experts focusing on ethical issues and playful research activities in participatory research with children.
