Description

'Under 50 and Living with Arthritis'

2018 National Conference hosted by Arthritis Ireland Kildare Branch and Young Arthritis Network

There are nearly one million people living with arthritis in Ireland and it is single biggest cause of disability in this country. This debilitating disease doesn't discriminate and it can affect people of any age - 165,000 under 55 have arthritis.

'Under 50 and Living with Arthritis' is a national event being held in the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth on Saturday 24th November from 9am until 4pm.

Speakers at the conference will tackle the relevant issues of our under 50s community, such as, employment, entitlements, parenting and overcoming the personal and social challenges associated with arthritis and related conditions. Information stands will provide further support and resources throughout the day and the event will close with an adapted yoga session.

Registration is free and booking is essential to secure your place. Lunch and a goodie bag will be provided (please outline any dietary requirements by email).

For more information, please contact Allison Paisley (Young Arthritis Network) at youngarthritis@arthritisireland.ie or Claire Kinneavy (Kildare Branch) at 045 433 803/clairekinneavy@gmail.com
