Join us for our workshop when we will explore how the Acute Mental Health Services work from admission to discharge. Family perspective.
About this event
This workshop is specifically created for families, carers and supporters with a loved one who has experienced or is experiencing acute mental health challenges. It is to give a greater understanding of the Acute Mental Health Services. In particular:
- How admission to an Acute Psychiatric Unit works.
- The different members of the Care Team and their roles.
- The jargon or terms you may hear.
- What supports are available to you and your loved one.
- How to support your own mental health and wellbeing.
Who can attend?
Open to anyone (aged 18+) with an interest in mental health and well-being.
