About this event
Dublin City Council is delighted to present our developmental Early Years Arts programme in partnership with The Ark. Over the summer, children aged 2-4 and their families will enjoy a feast of visual arts, drama and storytelling and dance.
Come with us on an imaginary journey under the sea. We will practice all our swimming moves and then dive deep beneath the big blue waves. Look out for a wobbly octopus, snappy sharks, speedy clownfish and scuttling crabs. How do they move around in the water? We will create our very own dancing waves and maybe even practice some surf moves too! In this workshop, we will use some everyday household objects to help us with our dance moves.
Online platform: The online workshops will be delivered using the Zoom video call software. It will be necessary to download this free software in advance of your workshop.
For safety reasons and to support your participating child, a parent or grown-up must be present in the room throughout all activities and workshops. Parents are welcome to participate.
Children’s Art in Libraries Creative Hubs sustain high quality arts experiences for children, schools and families to access in their library and locality, through partnership. Brought to you by Dublin City Arts Office and Libraries.
