Planning Futures - A Programme of Events Celebrating 50 years of Planning Education and Research at UCD
To mark this milestone, UCD Planning is preparing a programme of events for the 2016/17 academic year themed as Planning Futures.
The first event will take place on Thursday October 20th at 4pm in the Planning Building located in Richview (access via Clonskeagh Road). UCD Professor of Spatial Planning Zorica Nedovic-Budic will officially launch the series, and open the first event themed Urban Design: from visions to reality. Confirmed contributors to the this event are:
- Professor Ali Madanipour, Professor of Urban Design at Newcastle University
- Kevin Murray of Glasgow University, Kevin Murray Associates and past president of the RTPI
- Dr. Michael Short from the Bartlett School at University College London
- Dick Gleeson, former Dublin City Planner, will chair this event
This is an IPI and RIAI approved CPD event. All events in this series are free and open to the public. Registration is advised.
Subsequent events are scheduled throughout the year, being hosted in Richview (or city centre locations).
