Dear Friends, Colleagues & Supporters of Urban Hosts,
Urban Hosts returns with the first edition of 2015 taking place in Berlin at 34A, Weichselstraße 34A, 10247, Berlin.
Urban Hosts is a programme of events, which provokes and promotes practical approaches to urban change. The programme brings together people who are actively producing alternatives to our given city infrastructures, norms and perceptions.
The forthcoming June edition focuses on sound in the city with three international guests Caleb Kelly [AU], Zora Schärer Kalkandjiev [DE] & Daisuke Ishida [JP/DE] speaking about their work.
For this opening event there will also be a special performance “I Play Your Kitchen” by Finnish percussionist, co-founder of the new music group Liima and collaborator with the band Efterklang, Tatu Rönkkö [FI/DE] and food by macrobiotics chef and caterer Mami Yamasaki [JP/DE].
