About this event

Virtual Autism Support and Innovation Summit - Part of the NYC Autism Tech, Innovation, and Careers Expo 2022

Join our panel of speakers, who have a collection of lived and professional experiences relating to Autism. As a group, they use their experiences to boost the lives, and morale, for families and autistic people across the globe.

All of our speakers, have been on their own autism journeys, and one thing they all have in common - is that they have had similar negative experiences with traditional medical services and education settings, which may resonate with you. The purpose of this event is to learn how to avoid pitfalls and prepare for brighter days ahead with their guidance.

Meet our Line-up Of Speakers - and participate in a transformational afternoon - that will guide you to live authentically, and pass that on to your children and support networks.

Jude Morrow - After going through the mainstream school system, as an autistic child, Jude decided to take action and make positive changes, so autistic kids growing up after him, can have a more positive experience, and feel the freedom to be themselves. Jude is also a TEDx Speaker and Founder of Neurodiversity Training International.

Nat Lykowski. A thought leader and keynote speaker in neurodiversity hiring and employment at IBM and beyond. Nat represents the voice for all autistic adults seeking employment and acceptance and support at their employers, a shift that has to happen and will thanks to torch bearers like Nat.

Lauren Pearson - Lauren is a high school senior from Ontario, Canada. She is also a teen author, who is passionate about neuroscience and neurodiversity. Due to her own experiences being ADHD and Autistic, she aspires to end the implicit gender gap among neurodiverse females. She created "DiverseNeuro" to increase academic efforts surrounding neurodiversity.

Celest Austin MD - Founder of GoManda - a tech inspired app that helps autistic children learn and communicate in their already wonderful autistic way. GoManda is a our proud key event sponsor. Her 'why?' is down to being the closest ally of her autistic sister, Amanda, of which GoManda was named after.

Dr. Robert J. Melillo. He is one of the world’s most sought after and respected experts in Developmental Functional Neurology, Brain Imbalances, hemispheric integration and the diagnosis and correction of most neurodivergencies and learning disabilities. In 2006, he created Brain Balance Achievement Centers which has approximately 150 centers and has helped tens of thousands of families.

The event will be hosted on the ASPIRE Platform - powered by Soulivity TV. Participants will be able to engage, and network with one another, as well as the speaker line-up, and panellists. All registered attendees will receive a login for the Aspire Platform closer to the event, and your access to sessions and recordings will remain for 72h afterward.
