Virtual Computing Summer Camp from TU Dublin (Session 2 - HTML &JavaScript)

           Introduction to HTML and JavaScript

An Online single day summer camp open to all second-level students. The camp runs from 10 am to 3 pm. 

This introductory Online Summer Camp will consist of::

• Introduction to the group and format
• 1-hour online tutorial, recorded
• 4 hours to build your project
• Students submit projects for judging
• Winners announced a few days later!

The Camps are open to all beginner students, who wish to experience Computer Science.

This camp assumes no prior experience (it may be of benefit if you have completed the introduction to HTML and CSS but not required!)

Camp format details:

We will use Microsoft Teams to run the event, where we will meet up at 10 am and introduce the CSinc team for about 15 minutes. From there we will run an hour tutorial on HTML and JavaScript, which will be recorded. Then the students will be assigned an interactive website project. They will then have three hours to build a website and send us the final hosted link! This is done between 3:30 and 4 pm. Then the students are finished, where the CSinc team will decide on some winning projects (under specific categories) and these will be announced a few days later! 

All of the online tools are free and work on any device!
