About this event
Interested in creative writing and love the art of a good story, if this sounds like something that a 12 - 14 in your life would like to learn why not sign them up for our weekly writing programme for young people where they will get the opportunity to learn Creative Writing from our team of highly skilled and experienced youth arts practitioners.
Over the course of nine weeks learn all about short stories, poems, character creation, prose, spoken word and much more. This series of workshops will be running in The Arch this term, this is a fantastic programme for young people who love literature, books, reading, writing and the world of words.
Waterford Youth Arts has procedures in place to ensure the safety of all our young people and leaders. This term we are excited to be bringing back in person workshops and we are really looking forward to meeting new creatives in the making and welcoming back our old members this Autumn.
In line with national COVID-19 guidance, there will be some restrictions on what we do and how we work together to prioritize everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
Please note that in the event of tighter public health restrictions and ‘in-person’ activities are no longer possible, the programme will migrate online and continue for registered participants.
