Passionate about reading and writing, why not join Waterford Youth Arts weekly writing programme for 12 – 14-year-olds and learn how to create characters, make short stories, compose poetry, and create powerful prose from our skilled youth arts practitioners in-person with your fellow young creatives.

Creative Writing workshops run on Friday afternoons for nine weeks, this is a great programme for young people passionate about literature, books, reading, writing and the world of words. No experience is necessary to get involved and all are welcome

Waterford Youth Arts has procedures in place to ensure the safety of all our young people and leaders. This term we are excited to be bringing back in person workshops and we are really looking forward to meeting new creatives in the making and welcoming back our old members this January.

In line with national COVID-19 guidance, there will be some restrictions on what we do and how we work together to prioritize everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
