ADHD Ireland is delighted to bring you an informative and engaging webinar with the well-known Clinical Psychotherapist Mr. Zak Powers on the topic of Adult ADHD and Depression.

Research suggests that approx 30% of adults with ADHD will experience a depressive episode in their lifetime. Having ADHD puts you at four times the risk of having depression.

In this webinar Zak will discuss how to identify depression and your concerns and difficulties in managing this aspect of your condition. He will share tried and tested tools to manage depression and live a more peaceful ADHD life.

The Format

This webinar will begin with a presentation from Zak on identifying and managing Depression, which will be followed by a Q & A from members questions. The event is scheduled for approx. 75 minutes.

Biography

Zak Powers is the Clinical Director of Dublin Mental Health Clinic and Principal Clinician of Bergin Psychological Services. He has been serving the mental health needs of people both in Ireland and abroad for the last 23 years.

As Clinical Director he oversees all client and patient work at Dublin mental health clinic and manages all assessments and psychometric testing for adult ADHD patients.

Zak has also worked with world sporting champions in their particular fields of sport and he continues to advise organisation and business groups on a variety of mental health topics.

His work is supervised and through his ongoing professional learning he continues to grow as a Psychotherapist.
