The National Union of Students (NUS)' Green Impact is an UNESCO-recognised sustainability programme which has recently been adapted for dental practices in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare. This webinar is launching a pilot, funded by NHS England and delivered in partnership with Public Health England - East of England, supporting the roll out of Green Impact to dental practices across the Anglia and Essex regions. (Although any practice can use the tool, those outside of Anglia and Essex are not currently eligible for proactive support and external audit.)

The webinar will introduce Green Impact, outline the support available to practices, and will introduce case studies of good practice across the themes the programme covers. Additional tools and resources signposted will include CSH's open access how-to guide for dental practices and Dental SusNet. It will be delivered by Charlotte Bonner, Sustainability Innovation Manager at NUS, and Dr Frances Mortimer, Medical Director at the Centre For Sustainable Healthcare.

The webinar will be CPD accredited (if participants complete a post-webinar quiz) with the following learning outcomes:

1. Be aware of different social change theories that can underpin change management and successful engagement with sustainability

2. Have increased skillset to engage other individuals as well as organisations in sustainability

3. Have the knowledge and practical skills needed to improve the environmental sustainability of dental healthcare systems

There will be a second opportunity to attend the webinar on Wednesday 27th March at 12.30pm.
