About this event

Confidence & Wellbeing

Confidence is a precious resource, a secret sauce that is crucial to your wellbeing.

So how does it work in your mind and brain, and can you learn to harness its powers to make the most of life?

We look forward to hearing more at our forthcoming talk.

This talk is delivered by Professor Ian Robertson

As a neuroscientist and a trained clinical psychologist, Ian tries to bridge the gap between brain science, human psychology and the personal challenges that every person on the planet faces.

He has published many scientific papers and his most recent popular book is How Confidence Works: The new science of self-belief (Penguin). He is co-director of the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin and University of California at San Francisco.
