As part of our Wellbeing & Resilience series, take one hour out of your busy day to join us in finding out why we need breaks, and how to make taking breaks an every day practice.

Wellness & Resilience - The Brain Needs Breaks

Are you committed to your work and striving to do your best? Do you find yourself pushing through at work, keeping going to get things done? Do you find yourself not taking your breaks or when you do take breaks do you find yourself on your phone? Do you also find it hard to switch off from work? If so you are not alone.

There can often a paradox at play when we do this- we are trying to do our best work but the more we push on, the less we have to give.

Our brain needs breaks, our whole system needs breaks in order for us to do our best work.

In this hour we will explore in more details what stops us taking breaks, the scientific evidence of why it is important and the art of making breaks part of our daily rhythm.

This session will be delivered by Kerry Cullen, who has specialised in the in the area of coaching, training and self-care for 20 years.
