Westmeath Sustainable Gardening Course

About this event

This course is funded by Creative Ireland through their Creativity in Older Age Programme. The course is open to anyone living in Westmeath, who would like to learn more about planting for biodiversity, reducing waste, growing vegetables and wildflower meadows. It may be of particular interest to those involved with community gardens.

Horticulturist Aoife Munn will be delivering this course via zoom. Aoife is a former Tidy Districts judge and her courses have proved very popular both with participants and the media, having been covered on Nationwide many times. The course is interactive and lively with plenty of time for answering any questions you may have.

This 5-week course will be run one morning a week on Thursdays at 10 am starting on the 22nd of April. Please ensure you can attend for all 5 sessions before signing up.
