Moonhack is a free Record Setter event for kids aged 8-18 around the world. MUST HAVE TICKETS! If you see we have no more available tickets, pls do come back as we might have more availability when more volunteers join to run the event!

Held on July 20th, this date is the anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing and kids all over the globe will be Moonhacking. Reach for the stars and submit your own space themed project or try one of ours on the day to help break the record. The projects available are in Scratch Junior, Scratch, Python and an extra one for more experienced coders! Also an option a 3D designed rocket or spaceship which can be printed at a later date in Wexford Library.

Code Club Australia launched Moonhack in 2016 when the record was set with 10,207 kids coding on a single day. In 2017 Moonhack went global with 28,575 kids coding. This year we need you to join in and show the world how fun, easy and exciting coding is, with kids from all over the world joining the effort to get free, fun digital technologies education into everyone’s hands. Code Club and CoerDojo have joined forces since 2017 in order to get more kids coding and we are working hard to make Wexford, Ireland, excell at teaching coding! #getWexfordCoding
