We are proud to announce the launch of Black Rainbow writer’s group, a Cork-based LGBTQ+ writer’s club. We invite anyone in the LGBTQ+ community who is interested in fiction writing to join the group. No prior experience is necessary and we intend to publish an edited book of LGBTQ+ themed short stories, no longer than 3000 words each, set in Ireland within the next year. To this end, we will work with those who wish to be involved to give support and feedback on stories. We will meet on a regular basis to share ideas and writing tips, in addition to supporting the creative process. This club is not only for well-established authors; it is for everyone. We would like to create a forum for those who want to develop their story-writing skills and who wish to have a creative outlet. The group has been formed for mutual support, learning and inspiration, regardless of writing skill. In other words, everyone is welcome to join, to learn, and to contribute to others as equals. The group was founded by Mauro Lacovic and Robert Fourie, both members of the community in Cork. Please join the Zoom Launch of this group on Tuesday, 29th of September at 19h00.
