Event description
Foraging for wild foods, doing as our ancestors did. Boosting our immunity for the winter months for free from what nature provides.

About this Event

During this foraging workshop we will celebrate the abundance that abounds at this time of year. Harvesting berries, seeds, nuts and roots all of which will help keep our systems healthy and strong all winter long. Reconnecting to our ancestral roots.

We will be actively learning how to create a number of simple & effective 'winter remedies' to help boost the immunity of the body. Autumn is a time of becoming a little more still and beginning our preparations for the winter months. Nature is extremely generous to us with her bountiful gifts.

We will be focusing on the most immune boosting and medicinal plants that are easily obtained & that appear at this time of year. I will share the benefits, nutrients & easy ways in which we can use them. I have come to believe the plants appear at times of year when we most require there help. Through taking there support & help we can come more into balance & develop a deeper connection with our natural surrounds.

Nature Connection

We will also be taking some time to connect and sharpen our senses to all that surrounds us, to tune in to the changing seasons, we will do this through a simple nature connection meditation.
