Workshop: Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change
Event Information
Description
There is an increasing array of data and scientific information available which is relevant to climate change. Using these resources in an effective manner is itself a challenge. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to assist in providing analysis and addressing questions. These issues will be explored at an European Space Agency (ESA) workshop on opportunities for using (AI) to assist analysis and decision making on climate change. The workshop will take place between 10:00 and 13.00 in the RIA, Academy House, on the 22nd July.
The workshop provides an opportunity to explore the potential of how AI could be applied to adaptation planning in Ireland. Expected attendees would be decision makers at sectoral and local authority levels, members of the research community and information providers. This event is being sponsored by EI, and the EPA and hosted by the RIA.
Attendance is free but numbers for this event are limited, advance registration is essential.
