Event description
A 90-minute workshop for a group of four to learn, practically to construct a short compelling story

About this event

Your organisation could be equipped with a bank of short and compelling stories which speak to your mission, the reason you exist, the difference you make and why you should be supported. These stories are then available to everyone in your organisation to use - from the CEO and Board, to the staff and volunteers, for use with a range of audiences, particularly in making a case for support. Not having these stories in your toolbox is a missed opportunity.

This 90-minute hands-on workshop will have participants learn the practical skills of building a compelling story -what it should have and not have. They will come away having learned the skill of building a compelling story, ready to use it immediately.

The fee includes a 20 minute one-to-one follow up session for each participant, to answer questions and reinforce the learning.

The workshop is delivered in person by Kathleen O'Meara, a former journalist, politician and not for profit leader.
